Earle married Fanny Lehrfeld (#3) on July 17, 1936



and for 32 years Fanny hosted the annual family celebration birthday party in Earle's home

When Fanny joined with Earle they began annual hosted family gatherings in June at the Silver Birches Inn on Lake Wallenpaupack























Earle 1932 was the beginning of the Bess grieving period and looking for direction.
Later in life around 1978 he reflects on this period, he was with wife #4 Sadie .
Earle makes a judgement about Helene Mack which turned out to be an unfortunate marriage.

After Bess died Marrion went to live with Aunt Grace Osborn Norton,
Don became serious with Tess, Ralph went to Sellersville for work,
and Earle enters this period of insecurity that brought wife problems,
he married - he says two years of lonelyness Jason says 1933 - #2
Helen Nitchman ?? Mack - Not sure - if census is right -
our family called her Claire per RDW diary.
Census could be (nee Ver Wiebe) Nitchman b 1905
Jason says born in Brooklyn, Kings Co.,
NY
census says two children.
On Sunday November 3rd 1935 (see RDW diary) she killed herself.
Evidnetly she was sick with internal boil called fistula per RDW Diary Oct 27-29 1935.
Her son Bob ?? lived with Earle and played football per RDW diary Oct 26, 1935
don't know what happened if there as a son Lester as said in census.

Question 1930 census mystery :how did Earle come to marry- Helene Ver Wiebe Nitchman Waite age 25 already had two sons Robert 3yr 6 /12 and Lester 2 yr 2/12 with husband Robert Nitchman (was lineman with light company) age 29 Schenectady NY in 1930. Her father was from Germany Wilomenner Ver Wiebe age 61 yr.

here in Earle hand is Helene Nitchman Mack shown to ne born 6/7/1889 not
6/12/1905
per 1920 Census and Jason.
