Alert to Keitz findings: There is first hand evidence that Theodore Keitz was an abusive adult with boys - as a grandfather within our family. The fact that this has sexual abuse has been openly exposed is of great concern to the memory many have of Ted. We do not take issue with the allegation since there is no reason to dispute the charge. It has to be accept that he did such things - even though other's personal memories were only that he did good in his family contributions. There maybe questions as to the possibility that other members of the Keitz family have been abusive or received abusive behavior. Many people are now gone and cannot defend are deny this all happened.  But the living Ketiz people know more than they will say.

But no one else has come forth to make a sex abuse case within the family.
The abuse sexual behavior of some Keitz men have been implicated in allegations not confirmed. Some members talked and show signs of family physical or other kinds of abuse. Several Keitz members did not take a spouse and so there may have been a lower self esteem caused by abuse. Ernst R. Keitz 1848-1921 came from Germany and never married plus several Keitz girls have not married.
